On Friday, April 11, former Azle High School standout Tyler Akers’ current college team, the East Central Tigers, lost 6-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southern Arkansas Muleriders.

The game took place at Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field. This was their first matchup against the Muleriders this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 2 p.m. at Walker Stadium at Goodheart Field against Southern Arkansas Muleriders.
