On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Azle High School standout Tyler Akers’ current college team, the East Central Tigers, lost 9-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Ouachita Baptist Tigers.

The game took place at Ken Turner Field. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 12 p.m. at Ken Turner Field against Ouachita Baptist Tigers.
