TARRANT COUNTY COLLEGE: TCC to Postpone May Commencement Ceremonies

College5

Tarramt County College issued the following announcement on March 27

Tarrant County College is postponing its traditional May 2020 commencement ceremonies due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Executive Order issued by Tarrant County. This year’s ceremonies were scheduled to be held May 9 at Dickie’s Arena in Fort Worth.

TCC will confer degrees/certificates in May and mail diplomas to eligible graduates in June. The College is considering opportunities to celebrate the achievements of its 2019-2020 graduates at a later date.

“This is an unprecedented situation and we regret having to make this decision. However, the health and safety of TCC students and TCC family are top priority,” said TCC Chancellor Eugene Giovannini.

Students are encouraged to monitor their official TCC emails in the coming weeks for additional information and 2020 Commencement updates.
