BURLESON: COVID-19 UPDATE: Positive cases in Burleson

Bureson issued the following announcement on March 27

Late this afternoon, the Burleson Fire Department Office of Emergency Management received notification from Johnson County Medical Authorities of 5 tested positive cases of COVID-19 and 1 person-under-investigation. Each reported case was confirmed by the Burleson Office Of Emergency Management, and all reported cases are within the Burleson City limits.

On Wednesday, March 25, 2020, the Burleson City Council unanimously approved a Stay at Home Order amendment to its Disaster Declaration. It is imperative that residents only leave home for Essential Travel, to work in Essential Businesses, Government Service, or Essential Critical Infrastructure, or to perform Minimum Basic Operations. To the extent individuals are using shared or outdoor spaces, they must at all times as reasonably as possible maintain Social Distancing of six feet.
