City of Crowley recently issued the following announcement.
PHASE 2
In accordance with the City of Crowley’s three-phase plan to open City Hall and other City buildings, here are the guidelines for Phase 2 that will begin on Monday, May 11:
City Hall will open for business by appointment only for permits, water payments, Municipal Court (to pay citations or set up payment plans) and other City business.
Permits: 817-297-2201 ext. 3000 or 3030
Water Payments: 817-297-2201 ext. 1010 or ext. 1020
Municipal Court: 817-297-2201 ext. 1230 or ext. 1290 (There will be no in-person Monday court for the remainder of May)
Other City Business: 817-297-2201 (follow voice prompts for additional departments)
PLEASE NOTE: The Crowley Public Library is currently conducting curbside service, and beginning Monday, May 11, it will be taking reservations for computer use. Please call 817-297-6707 ext. 2090 or email mxnelon@ci.crowley.tx.us to reserve your slot.
PHASE 3
Phase 3 is scheduled to begin Monday, May 18, and City Hall will be open from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and 7:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. on Friday with the following safety measures:
- A maximum of three (3) individuals at a time will be allowed inside the common area at City Hall. There will be social distancing markers on the floor. If you see three (3) individuals in the waiting area, please wait on one of the social distancing markers under the awning just outside the main entrance.
- After completing your business, please follow the exit signs that will take you out the main front entrance and continue directly straight before turning right to return to the parking area.
- Please wear face coverings, if possible, and hand-sanitizer stations will be available at City Hall.
- If you would feel more comfortable making an appointment to conduct business, you are welcome to do so. (Please see the numbers listed above).
- To encourage business to be conducted online for water payments and municipal courts (https://www.municipalonlinepayments.com/crowleytx/utilities), the City will continue to waive online transaction fees through the end of June. Online transaction fees will resume July 1.
The Crowley Animal Shelter will continue to do business by appointment only by calling 817-297-2201 ext. 3300.
City Administrators are currently working on plans to reopen the Crowley Recreation Center, and details will be released when they become available.
