City of Azle offers grants in two forms to enhance city's retail appearance

The City of Azle recently updated its Facade and Signage Improvement Program (FSIP) grant.

According to a news releasethe program was implemented to provide financial and technical assistance to Azle business owners or tenants seeking to renovate or restore the outward appearance of their businesses. 

The FSIP is offering two grants: The General Project grant will provide a 50% matching grant of up to $10,000 for the funding of well-designed improvements that will coordinate all the important features of the storefront into a more attractive image while creating, if necessary, an accessible entrance for the public. The Signage Project Grant will provide an additional 50% matching grant up to $5,000 for improvement of existing signage or construction of new city-approved signage.
