Town of Trophy Club issued the following announcement on July 22
The Trophy Club Town Council is currently seeking residents who are willing to spend a few hours a month to serve their community.
These important boards and commission committees are comprised of resident volunteers who advise the Town on current issues and assist the Council in policy development and administration of services. Members of a board or commission must be a resident and a qualified voter of the Town of Trophy Club at the time of his or her appointment.
Mayor Nick Sanders stated, "Volunteerism has been one of the most valuable aspects of our community for over 30 years. We come together with a common goal of making Trophy Club better for everyone. Being respectful of viewpoints brings unity and builds a cohesive Town.."
The following Boards & Commission committees have openings currently and the Town is accepting applications for them:
- Animal Shelter Advisory Board
- Building Standards Commission
- Crime Control and Prevention District (CCPD)
- Economic Development Commission 4B (EDC)
- Ethics Review Commission
- Parks and Recreation Board
- Planning & Zoning Commission
- Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone
- Zoning Board of Adjustment
