They are complete with the repair and everyone should have water restored.  If you do not, please call 817-514-5897 and let Public Works know.

Update 8:10 AM - October 27 (Tuesday)

NRH is still working on the repair and hopes to have water restored by 9:00 AM.

Update 6:35 AM - October 27 (Tuesday)

NRH was not able repair the water main during the night.  Therefore, we have several businesses in the shopping center north side of Watauga Road at Rufe Snow Drive that are without water (Taco Casa, JPS, etc…).  NRH hopes to have the water service working before 8:00 AM.

Will provide more updates once NRHs provides a new plan.

Original Post 7:00 PM - October 26 (Monday)

North Richland Hills (NRH) is working on a Water Main break in Watauga that belongs to North Richland Hills (NRH).  Earlier today, NRH did turn off their water main and temporarily affected some Watauga Water Customers.  NRH corrected this issue and restored the water service to our residents.  NRH will shut the main down after 10:00 PM when all the business should be closed.

At this time, one of the westbound lanes of Watauga Road in this area is closed.

Even though it is a NRH water main, there may be a chance Watauga Water residents are affected in making the repair.

Therefore, if you live on Avalon Drive, Skylark Lane, Dream Lane near Skylark Lane, Watauga Road from Skylark Lane to Rufe Snow this area, plan on using water before 10:00 PM and hopefully, NRH will have the repair complete before morning.  Watauga Public Works shall have our team on site during the shutdown but will not knock on doors late at night if sections of the Watauga system need to be shut down.

If the shutdown is ongoing into Tuesday, you may call 817-514-5897 and we shall deliver water to your home.
