On Saturday, March 1, former Azle High School standout Tyler Akers’ current college team, the East Central Tigers, lost 6-4 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Northwestern Oklahoma State Rangers.

The game took place at Ken Turner Field. This was their second matchup against the Rangers this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 4 p.m. at Ken Turner Field against Northwestern Oklahoma State Rangers.
