On Tuesday, March 18, former Azle High School standout Tyler Akers’ current college team, the East Central Tigers, won 16-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southeastern Oklahoma State Savage Storm.

The game took place at Ken Turner Field. This was their first matchup against the Savage Storm this season.

The Tigers’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 2 p.m. at Ken Turner Field against Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys.
